While the UPA Government’s move to open retail to FDI
was unexpected, what was on more predictable lines were the reasons marshaled both
in defence and against this move.
My previous post
had enumerated why FDI in Retail is not a big deal either ways and newer
arguments have done little to change this opinion.
A curious outcome of this decision has been the 'resurgence' in business 'sentiments'. So, are 'sentiments' alone what reforms have been all about?
